JGTD Dubai Returns in 2026 as Jewellery and Diamonds Look to a New Global Balance
Stronger partnerships, more than 400 exhibitors and a strategic focus on diamonds thanks to its co-location with the second Dubai Diamond Week. From 27 to 29 October at the Dubai Exhibition Centre
Dubai’s Gold District is strengthening its position on the global jewellery map with Jewellery, Gem & Technology in Dubai (JGTD), which returns from 27 to 29 October to North Halls N21 and N23 of the Dubai Exhibition Centre (DEC), bringing together more than 400 exhibitors and buyers expected from over 100 markets.
Organised by Informa Markets and Italian Exhibition Group, the event — the Middle East’s only B2B show entirely dedicated to the international jewellery industry — is built around a networking format spanning the entire supply chain, in a strategic location such as Dubai, which is itself one of the show’s key competitive advantages.
Highlighting this role is Marco Carniello, Chief Business Officer of Italian Exhibition Group (IEG): “As the Middle East’s only B2B event dedicated exclusively to the international jewellery industry, JGTD has become a strategic meeting point connecting global markets with the region’s growing commercial influence.”
This role has expanded and is set to strengthen further thanks to a structured partnership ecosystem. “By bringing together manufacturers, gemstone suppliers, technology companies and buyers, with the support of DMCC and DJG, the event creates new business opportunities and reinforces Dubai’s role as a leading hub for the jewellery trade,” Carniello continues. “Together with Dubai Diamond Week, JGTD consolidates this ecosystem by combining sourcing, knowledge exchange and industry dialogue to enhance the sector’s competitiveness.”
The strengthening of alliances is one of the defining elements of Dubai’s ecosystem in 2026. DMCC (Dubai Multi Commodities Centre) once again serves as Official Partner, while Dubai Jewellery Group (DJG) returns as Industry Partner for the fifth consecutive year. This continuity reflects the commitment of local and international stakeholders to making JGTD a forum for discussing the transformations reshaping the market, as Celine Lau, Director of Jewellery Fairs at Informa Markets, points out: “The jewellery industry is evolving rapidly. Consumer preferences are changing, younger generations are showing increasing spending power, and technological advances are transforming the way jewellery is manufactured, marketed and sold.”
Against this backdrop, Lau says JGTD aims to represent “the industry’s response to this transformation”, bringing together the suppliers, innovations and market intelligence buyers need to adapt and grow. Its alignment with Dubai Diamond Week and the Dubai Diamond Conference also creates an opportunity to address structural issues affecting the sector. The chosen theme, “Diamond 2.0: A Strategic Reset – Reigniting Desire, Unlocking New Value”, directly addresses one of the industry’s most significant challenges: reigniting desire for natural diamonds and identifying new drivers of value.
The conference will explore strategies to sustain long-term demand for natural diamond jewellery, while on 27 October the programme will continue with bilateral meetings, corporate presentations and visits to Almas Tower and the Dubai Diamond Exchange.
Dubai’s growing importance in the sector is highlighted by Ahmed Bin Sulayem, Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of DMCC, who points to the record US$41.7 billion in diamond trade recorded in 2025. According to Bin Sulayem, this result has firmly positioned Dubai among the world’s leading diamond centres. “Collaboration among industry stakeholders,” he adds, “now aims to create the conditions needed to strengthen the sector’s resilience and support it through the next phase of its evolution.”
Dubai’s ability to act as a bridge between markets is also emphasised by Tawhid Abdulla, Chairman of Dubai Jewellery Group: “Dubai has established itself as one of the world’s most dynamic centres for the jewellery trade, connecting Eastern and Western markets,” while also reiterating DJG’s commitment to initiatives capable of boosting competitiveness and creating opportunities for sustainable growth.
On the exhibition front, JGTD 2026 will offer a comprehensive overview of the entire supply chain. Announced highlights include high-quality diamonds from Yondor Diamonds Ltd, Shivam Jewels and Paladiya Brothers; gold and silver collections from Rayne Roche; fancy-cut diamond tennis bracelets from RK Gems Co; and diamond bangles and coloured gemstone rings from Taka Jewellery Pte Ltd. In the loose gemstone segment, exhibitors will include Blue Gems Supplier and Emerald Mines Co Ltd, among others.
Technology, an increasingly decisive factor in the competitiveness of the supply chain, will be represented by machinery, equipment, tools and solutions from companies including Faro, Bulunmaz and Fresissima.
