Mattia Mazza.

Dove guardate oggi?

Mattia Mazza. One Hundred Years, a Legacy to Be Continuously Reinterpreted
In Torre del Greco, his hometown—where coral is much more than just a craft—Mattia Mazza brings together the material and masterful craftsmanship.
More than a hundred years can be either a challenging legacy or a resource. For the brand, they represent a heritage to be continuously reinterpreted, because only what can renew itself can speak to the present and look beyond. And preserving a tradition means balancing conservation with evolution. The story of Mattia Mazza stems from the tradition of Torre del Greco and has stood the test of time through courage and the ability to reinvent itself. Hence the investments in stylistic research, innovation, and the development of new collections—always in keeping with the values of quality and craftsmanship that continue to define its identity.
Coral, cameos, and pearls are experiencing a new era. What has changed?
Above all, the perspective. Today, these materials are no longer interpreted solely as expressions of tradition, but as the stars of a new kind of jewelry. We’ve expanded our offerings because Mattia Mazza is no longer just synonymous with coral, pearls, and cameos, but also with research, experimentation, and new product lines—designed to connect with a broader audience, while always maintaining the highest standards of quality.
Today, buyers want to know the story behind a piece, its origin, and the journey that brought it into their hands. So, does this evolution also involve a different way of understanding the value of jewelry?
Absolutely. That’s why we pay close attention to the quality of our raw materials, their selection, and building transparent relationships with customers—so that every project reflects our expertise, professionalism, and reliability.
You’ve always worked with international markets. Where are you focusing your attention today?
Our jewelry reaches customers in many countries, and we continue to strengthen our presence there. One of our most important goals this year is to consolidate our position in the UK market, where we had already built strong relationships even before Brexit and which we now want to develop further. At the same time, we’re investing in strengthening our sales network to support customers at every stage of the relationship—from choosing collections to personalized services and after-sales support.
And if you had to choose an image that represents you?
Rather than an image, the brand chooses a symbol of its journey: the “Impresa Storica d’Italia” designation, which embodies continuity in family, work, and ties to the local community—an invitation for all of us to continue on the same path. Because a tradition remains alive only when it doesn’t look solely to the past.
