Come nell’originale, per la forma ottagonale fa riferimento al tappo del profumo Chanel N°5 (la cui relazione con Place Vendôme è lampante). La cassa rettangolare di 19,7 x 15,2 x 7,5 mm, è in oro giallo 18 carati e presenta il fondello in titanio e la corona con un diamante taglio brillante (~0,04 carati) incastonato. Il quadrante, puro ed essenziale, con le sole lancette a bastone in oro, è laccato rosso dall’effetto soleil. Anche il cinturino in caucciù è rosso (al tocco ricorda la morbida stosità del velluto) e termina con fibbia ad ardiglione in oro giallo. Al suo interno custodisce un movimento svizzero al quarzo e garantisce l’impermeabilità fino a 30 metri.

The PREMIÈRE RUBAN ROUGE watch revisits the iconic Première, the first ladies’ watch, created in 1987 and inspired by the codes of the Maison.
Today, the Montre PREMIÈRE RUBAN ROUGE, like the original, references the cap of Chanel N°5 perfume with its octagonal shape (if you look at it from above Place Vendôme, the resemblance is striking). The rectangular case, measuring 19.7 x 15.2 x 7.5 mm, is made of 18-carat yellow gold and features a titanium case back and a crown set with a brilliant-cut diamond (~0.04 carats). The dial, pure and essential, with only gold baton hands, is lacquered red with a soleil effect. The rubber strap is also red, velvety to the touch, and ends with a yellow gold pin buckle. Inside, it houses a Swiss quartz movement and is water-resistant to 30 metres.
