Un cuore di precisione sotto i giochi di luce del quadrante in titanio damasco ossidato
500 esemplari, numerati singolarmente, per il nuovo Nereide TI-Damascus (l’ultimo della collezione Nereide) dal quadrante ‘emozionale’: dopo la forgiatura del titano damasco – processo artigianale che vede l’impiego di diverse leghe di titanio fuse, laminate, sovrapposte e piegate secondo una tecnica ispirata alle lavorazioni delle lame damascate – la superficie viene levigata e sottoposta a un trattamento termico controllato che genera un’ossidazione dalla texture caleidoscopica, diversa per ogni quadrante (0,4 mm di spessore su base ottone).
Questo orologio diver impermeabile fino a 200 metri, ha la cassa da 42 mm in acciaio 316L, resistente alla corrosione e alle condizioni marine, e al suo interno custodisce un movimento automatico Sellita SW200-1, meccanica svizzera di precisione e affidabilità. È protetto da vetro zaffiro antiriflesso ad alta resistenza – vetro zaffiro posto anche sul fondello attraverso il quale è visibile il rotore scheletrato progettato internamente da Venezianico, che si distingue per le decorazioni con Côtes de Genève radiali, trattato con una finitura IP viola, in continuità cromatica con le sfumature del quadrante. La lunetta è in tungsteno, uno dei materiali più duri che garantisce una robustezza straordinaria contro urti e graffi; il bracciale è in acciaio di tipo Sansovino.

Venezianico launches the Nereid TI-Damascus
A heart of precision under the light plays of the oxidized titanium damascus dial
500 individually numbered pieces for the new Nereid TI-Damascus (the latest in the Nereid collection) with an ‘emotional’ dial: after the forging of the titan damascus – an artisanal process using different titanium alloys cast, rolled, overlaid and folded according to a technique inspired by the workings of damask blades – the surface is polished and subjected to a controlled heat treatment that generates an oxidation that gives a kaleidoscopic texture, different for each dial (0.4 mm thick on a brass base).
This diver’s watch is water-resistant to 200 meters, has a 42 mm case made of 316L steel, resistant to corrosion and marine conditions, and inside houses a Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement, Swiss precision and reliability mechanics. It is protected by high-strength, anti-reflective sapphire crystal – sapphire crystal also placed on the case back through which the skeletonized rotor designed in-house by Venezianico can be seen, which features radial Côtes de Genève decorations, treated with a purple IP finish, in chromatic continuity with the dial shades. The bezel is made of tungsten, one of the hardest materials that guarantees extraordinary robustness against shocks and scratches; the bracelet is Sansovino-type steel.
